Samoa’s national football federation has re-appointed Papalii Samuel L Petaia as President. The appointment came after a vote in the FFS Elective Congress.

Petaia was originally made FFS President in 2019, when he beat out incumbent Laupama Solomona.

As well as Petaia retaining his positon, Muliaumasealii George Tagiilima has been voted Vice President ,replacing Fuata La’i Tautiaga. New Executive members elected are Richard Noaese, Misa Falevi Umutaua and Michael Savea. They join board members Leaula Theresa Asiata and Afamasaga Sefine Kapisi. The President and Executive will serve FFS for the next four years.

FIFA Regional Manager David Firisua and representative Angelina Lee-Hussien were present at FFS headquarters in Apia to witness the proceedings.
