National women’s competition action returns in Fiji, while regular season games continue in several different OFC Member Associations. Here’s this week’s Oceania competitions wrap.

Lautoka FC have extended their lead at the top of Fiji’s Digicel Premier League after they beat Navua FC 2-1 on Sunday and their nearest ladder rivals, Rewa FC, fell to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Suva FC.

Third-placed Nadi FC were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw with Nadroga FC, while Ba FC and Labasa FC were the two teams who didn’t play over the weekend.

The Digicel Women’s Super League returned to action over the weekend in Fiji as well, with Ba FC continuing their dominant unbeaten run with a 4-0 victory over Rewa, with striker Cema Nasau starring for her side with a pair of goals.

Suva registered their first win by downing Tailevu Naitasir 2-1.

Molea Tigi ran riot in Round 19 of the Telekom S-League in the Solomon Islands, scoring three times as his Solomon Warriors punished Kula FC 7-0.

Central Coast FC maintained their lead at the top with a 3-1 victory over FC Isabel United, while Real Kakamora FC jumped to outright fifth position thanks to a 1-1 draw with Henderson Eels FC.

Laugu United FC and Kossa FC couldn’t be split in a 2-2 draw, Waneagu FC beat Southern United FC 2-0 and Marist FC edged past Honiara City FC 2-1 in the other matches.

In Samoa’s Upolu National League men’s division, Lupe Ole Soaga continued their unbeaten run at the top of the table, squeezing past Vaitele eta 1-0, while their nearest rivals Vapiuna were 1-0 winners over USP.

Kiwi FC beat Moataa 3-0 while there were wins for Vaivase tai (6-2 over Faatoia United) and Sogi (3-0 over Togafuafua).

In the premier women’s competition there were 3-0 wins for Faatoia United and Lotopa, against Adidas and Lupe Ole Soaga respectively, while the other two matches were draws with Vaivase tai and Moataa unable to be split 2-2 and Vapiuna v Lepea finishing 1-1.

The Vodafone Premier League in Port Vila, Vanuatu saw Tupuji Imere FC secure a big result in beating top of the table North Efate United 2-0

Bottom-placed Mauwia FC secured a draw against Yatel, Ifira Black Bird FC won 5-0 Mauriki, Galaxy FC downed Shepherds United 4-1 and Tafea FC beat Erakor Golden Star 2-1.
