The Oceania Football Confederation can confirm that the OFC U-19 Championship 2022 Group B fixture between Papua New Guinea and Tonga and the Quarter Finals will be rescheduled.
Papua New Guinea was scheduled to play Tonga on September 14 at 5:00pm local.
However, the Papua New Guinea Football Association (PNGFA) has informed OFC that they will be unable to fulfil their respective fixture due to unforeseen circumstances with flights.
The fixture between Papua New Guinea and Tonga will now take place on September 15 at 3:00pm local time.
In deciding the revision of this fixture, the OFC had to consider the minimum rest periods between matches for the welfare of the players.
As a result, the quarter-finals will be rescheduled as follows:
Sunday 18 September local time:
Quarter Final 1: 1A v 3B/C at 4:30pm local time.
Quarter Final 2: 1B v 3A/C at 8:00pm local time.
Quarter Final 3: 1C v 2A at 1:00pm local time
Quarter Final 4: 2B v 2C at 9.30am local time.
