Tahiti is through to the quarter-finals at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup™ in Dubai after a stunning come from behind 5-3 win over Spain in their second Group B match.

The Tiki Toa trailed 3-0 before mounting a brilliant comeback with Roonui Tinirauarii scoring twice.

Earlier Dona became the first goalkeeper to score at the tournament when he rifled in Spain’s third goal in the second period.

Goals from Heimanu Taiarui, Patrick Tepa and Tearii Labaste brought Tahiti level before Tinirauarii’s brace to secure the dramatic win.

Iran defeated Argentina 6-3 to join Tahiti in the quarter finals from Group B with the group winner and runner-up to be determined when the two sides meet on Tuesday morning (6:00am NZT).
