An exciting encounter awaits in Rarotonga when Tahia Tamarii and her Tahitian sisters take on New Caledonia to battle for the final berth in the OFC Women’s U-19 Championship 2019 semi-final.

Tahiti has been in preparation since January and the one person who could help them achieve their goal is the young lady from Moorea.

“Everything is going well in the team, especially as we started well from our first match against American Samoa. We won 7-0 and it’s been a good start to the competition, despite the defeat to New Zealand.

“If we go back to the past, two years ago we were beaten 17-1, and here we lost 5-0 so for us, it’s like a win and even more, we have proven that we can go far in this competition, We’re in the semi-finals!” Tamarii said with excitement.
