The eyes of oceania beach soccer community will be on Tahiti 17-22 June as the much anticipated 2019 OFC Beach Soccer Nations Cup makes it reappearance after a six years of absence, and two-time FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup finalists, Tiki Toa are determined to defend the Tahitian colours.

This will be Tahiti’s first qualification at OFC level since 2011 and coach, Naea Bennett has named his squad for the task ahead.

“The backbone of the team has remained the same, but the decision was also to refresh it with fresh blood, by integrating three young players since the last world cup in the Bahamas in 2017, Heirauarii SALEM, Gervais CHAN KAT and Teaonui TEHAU” Bennett said.

The tournament scheduled at Aorai Tinihau park with see Solomon Island, New Caledonia, Vanuata and new comers Tonga challenging the hosts.

The last OFC tournament held in 2013 saw Tahiti gain direct entrance as World Cup host nation.
