An Oceania match official trio featuring referee Nick Waldron and assistant referee Isaac Trevis from New Zealand along with Vanuatu’s Jeremy Garae have turned heads at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.

The group took control of their first match on 28 October, the Group E encounter between Tajikstan and Cameroon.

A dominant, top class performance from Waldron and his offsiders has resulted in a second appointment for the trio.

On the 2 November they will officiate the encounter between Haiti and France.
