PSG secured top spot in Group B, cruising past a spirited Seattle Sounders side 2-0. Goals from Khvicha Kvartatskhelia and Achraf Hakimi sealed the victory for the European champions. Kvartatskhelia opened the scoring with a precise finish, and Hakimi added a second during a swift counterattack. With six points atop Group B, PSG advance and will face Inter Miami in the Round of 16.

Atletico Madrid vs Botafogo
Atletico Madrid earned a narrow 1-0 win over Botafogo thanks to a composed first-half finish by Antoine Griezmann. Despite dominating possession and creating more clear-cut chances, Atletico failed to add a second goal, which ultimately proved costly in the group standings. Botafogo showed resilience at key moments and advanced to the Round of 16, where they will face Group A winners Palmeiras in Philadelphia, while Atlético Madrid bow out.

Inter Miami vs Palmeiras
Continuing the action was a top of the group clash between Inter Miami and Palmeiras who played out a thrilling 2-2 draw. Miami took a 2-0 lead after goals from Tadeo Allende and Luis Suarez, but Palmeiras fought back with late goals from Paulinho and Mauricio. The draw confirmed Inter Miami’s top spot in Group A, setting up a reunion for Lionel Messi in the Round of 16 against his former club and recently crowned European champions PSG. Palmeiras also advanced and will face Botafogo in an exciting clash between two of Brazil’s best.

The day ended with a dramatic 4-4 draw between FC Porto and Al Ahly. Both teams exchanged goals in an electrifying back-and-forth battle, with Wessam Abou Ali scoring a hat-trick for Al Ahly. Despite the thrilling game, the draw wasn’t enough for either team to advance, resulting in their elimination from the tournament.
