Paris Saint Germain 0 Botafogo 1

The biggest shock of the tournament so far. South American champions Botafogo has stunned European champions Paris Saint Germain thanks to a composed finish from Tiquinho Soares in the 69th minute. Despite dominating possession and chances, PSG were stifled by Botafogo’s disciplined defending and now face possible elimination if they can’t win their final group match against Seattle Sounders. The Brazilian team have now won two from two matches and will guarantee progress to the knockout rounds if they avoid defeat against Atletico Madrid.

Seattle Sounders 1–3 Atlético Madrid

Atlético bounced back from their opening drubbing by PSG to cruise past Seattle at Lumen Field. Pablo Barrios struck twice, and Axel Witsel added another. Seattle pulled one back through Albert Rusnák but couldn’t muster a comeback. Despite being eliminated with two losses, Sounders showed grit—landing 16 shots and holding 42% possession—but lacked the cutting edge up front.
