We’re currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement & Logistics Officer to support the delivery of OFC’s commercial partnerships and help grow the profile and reach of football across Oceania.

About The Role
This role will ensure the correct process for procurement of goods, materials, and services to ensure that OFC’s operational needs, including but not limited to the OFC Professional League, are met, considering price, quality, and delivery, and to ensure continuity of supply. The role will support the enhancement of procurement and logistics frameworks and strategies including managing increased activity from new competitions such as the OFC Pro League
- Support the Procurement and Logistics Manager in developing best practices, procurement strategies, and operational plans to enhance OFC’s procurement performance.
- Provide advice to departments on procurement processes, policies, and best practices to ensure efficient and compliant procurement across the organisation.
- Assist departments in developing annual budgets by providing cost analysis, market pricing research, and procurement insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders to support OFC’s operational and event needs, including but not limited to the OFC Professional League.
- Lead and coordinate high-value and complex procurement activities, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier agreements.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and service providers, ensuring compliance with OFC policies and delivering best value through ethical and transparent sourcing.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for goods and services across departments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to internal policies.
- Act as the procurement account officer for assigned events, including but not limited to the OFC Professional League, ensuring timely and efficient procurement of accommodation, equipment, and related services for smooth event delivery.
- Arrange and confirm transport and logistics orders to make sure shipments are delivered on time and to the right people.
- Coordinate bookings with freight providers and couriers, always looking for the most efficient and cost-effective options.
- Make sure all logistics activities follow OFC’s policies, contract terms, and any relevant import/export rules.
- Represent OFC in a credible, professional, and respectful manner always.
- Comply with OFC regulatory framework and policies.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety in the workplace.

About You
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- A tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred, but relevant work experience will also be considered.
- 2+ years’ experience in procurement, administration, or logistics, preferably within a not-for-profit organisation.
- Strong exposure to bookings (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to communicate detailed instructions to a diverse audience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint) at an intermediate level
- Solid relationship management and project management skills
- A professional, team-oriented approach and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to travel and willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand, ability to satisfy Ministry of Justice criminal checks.
Additional language skills beyond English would be an advantage.
