Mr. Soromon who now works for DHL Company in Port Vila told vanuafoot how happy is he after he learned that his son Seule Soromon scored the only goal to help his team reached the final of the competition.

“I am a proud father this week.” My son Seule has brought happiness to our family since he left Vanuatu few years ago and this week we are very happy to hear that he scored the only goal in the semi final.”

“We wish him and his team all the best of luck in the final of the ASB Chatham Cup.” concluded Mr. Pako Soromon.

The final of the ASB Chatham Cup will be an all Central League affair after Wairarapa United and Napier City Rovers emerged with hard-fought semi-finals wins last week.

Wairarapa captain Adam Cowan picked out the run of Vanuatu International Seule Soromon with a pinpoint through ball and the former Tupuji Imere Fc star lobbed the oncoming Danny Robinson for the only goal of the game two minutes into the second half.

Seule Soromon is not included in the Vanuatu national senior men’s team to New Caledonia for the Pacific games kicks off on Saturday 27 August 2011.
