The greatest movement has been in witnessed by the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu who have moved ten spots to 152 and eleven places to 178 respectively.
Positive moves have also been made by New Caledonia who have climbed four positions to 93rd in the rankings. Fiji move up six to 185 and American Samoa have gone up one place to 194.
Samoa is the only team, along with New Zealand, who have slipped in the rankings, moving down one position to 188.
Tahiti, Tonga, Papua New Guinea and Cook Islands all remain unchanged.
In the latest Women’s World Ranking New Zealand remain unchanged at 19th but currently have their highest number of points (1810) since the introduction of women’s ranking.
Positive movement has been made by Tonga, who have climbed one spot to 72nd, helping them maintain their position as the third highest ranked women’s side in the region. Vanuatu and Samoa have both moved up five places to 92 and 96 respectively, securing fourth and fifth in the regional rankings.
The rest of the region’s national womens teams positions remain unaffected with six teams remaining outside the ranking.
