Honiara – The Bilikiki Boy’s most famous son – James Naka, lit up the DJ Graphics-sponsored Beach soccer competition this weekend at DC park.
Naka won the golden boot at the tournament, scoring nine goals to steal the limelight from two provincial recruits who made impressive debuts. Hickley Rence from the Western
Province Turtles and Nicholas Muri from Makira’s Real Kakamora were the leading goal scorers in their first two pool matches with six goals apiece.
The Blue squad won the second leg of the tournament and is now two-time champion. The blue side boasts Bilikiki beach soccer stars Naka, Takyama and Feni and is the real draw
card to the tournament.
