OFC Auckland: The referee exchange programme between the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will continue in April at the AFC Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Japan.

Three Australian match officials have been appointed by the OFC to officiate in this tournament from 18-26 April 2004 alongside 19 other Asian match officials. They are women’s referee Krystyna Szokolai and women’s assistant referees’ Jacqueline Leleu and Airlie Keen. The trio have all had extensive experience officiating at both OFC and FIFA level tournaments.

The referee exchange programme commenced during the 2004 OFC Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Fiji earlier this month when five Asian match officials were appointed to officiate alongside two OFC women’s assistant referees.
