OFC, Auckland: Oceania Football Confederation president, Reynald Temarii, was re-elected unopposed at last Saturday’s OFC Extraordinary Congress, held at the Irikiri Island Resort in Port Vila, Vanuatu.

The former Tahitian soccer international turned sports administrator graciously acknowledged the solidarity shown by the congress members and thanked the FIFA president, Joseph S. Blatter for his presence and guiding words. Mr Temarii also formally welcomed New Caledonia as the

12th member of OFC.

Mr Blatter was pleased with the show of solidarity saying it was a good start towards a unified OFC.

Following the election of the president and eight sitting members, the following office bearers were confirmed for the period 2004-2008:
