Tahiti and Solomon Islands will travel to Fiji for the friendlies and will each play against the home side twice during July and August.
The Pacific Games are set to take place in Noumea from August 27 to September 10.
Fiji FA national team director Anil Sharma says the games have been arranged to make sure the Fiji players are ready for the challenges they will face in Noumea and is looking forward to hosting the Solomons and Tahiti.
“These two sides have a lot of quality players and they should give us some tough matches,” he says. “This will no doubt assist in our preparations.”
The Fiji FA had pencilled in a tour to Australia to prepare for the Pacific Games but this plan has now been shelved in favour of the home matches.
“The tour to Australia has been called off,” Kumar says.
“At this time it is very cold in Australia and most quality teams are in their off-season. I think it will be ideal to play teams like Solomon Islands and Tahiti as these are the sorts of teams we will face at the Pacific Games.”
The Fiji national team was last in action in 2008 and it was an occasion that will live long in the memory as two Roy Krishna goals helped them to a 2-0 win over New Zealand, their first victory over the All Whites since 1984.
Tahiti and Solomon Islands have also been idle in recent months and will be keen to play as many games as possible in the build up to the Pacific Games.
Both will be hoping for a strong showing in Noumea as they look to get their World Cup qualifying campaigns off the ground and will use their countries’ recent success in other forms of the game for inspiration.
Solomon Islands qualified for the FIFA Futsal World Cup Thailand 2012 with a win over Tahiti in the final of the OFC championship last month in Fiji while Tahiti will take part in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Italy 2011 after pipping the Solomons to the OFC title as hosts in February.
