In his new role at OFC, Tiller will assist with all matters relating to media and communications including the all-important ‘Win in Oceania’ Media Project that aims to see the appointment and training of media officers in each of the confederation’s 11 member associations.
Meanwhile Priscilla Duncan, who joined OFC at the start of the year, takes over as Head of Media and Communications.
OFC General Secretary Tai Nicholas says the organisation is going through an exciting growth period and that Tiller will be a valuable addition to the team.
“As a player himself, Joel comes onboard with a passion for football and impeccable communication skills so the role suits him perfectly,” said Nicholas. “Plus his background in television adds another component to our Media and Communications department.”
Tiller says he is ready for the challenges ahead.
“I am delighted to be joining the OFC team in this exciting new role,” said Tiller. “I look forward to throwing my best efforts behind the excellent work already being undertaken by the Media and Communications department and various OFC staff.”
