Amir Navon is the new Head of Competitions at the Oceania Football Confederation. The 45-year-old replaces Chris Kemp who is embarking on a new stage of his professional career after eight years at the helm.
Navon comes from Israel where he brings a wealth of experience having worked at the Israel Football Association (IFA) from 2007-2022, most recently as the Deputy CEO.
He is vastly experienced in running competitions and has been responsible for all the competitions that the IFA organises, (National Cups, Women’s leagues, Amateur leagues, and Youth leagues) including player’s status and transfers of players at the competitions.
Navon has also worked extensively at UEFA in roles such as a UEFA Match Delegate, UEFA Integrity Officer, UEFA Club Licensing Manager and UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector.
Navon says he is excited to start a challenging role.

He starts working at the OFC Home of Football Te Kahu o’ Kiwa on Tuesday.
