Despite only New Zealand’s All Whites having played any matches in the last month, they have slipped ten spots while Tahiti, Solomon Islands, Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga and Cook Islands have improved their placing on the table.
Samoa has made the biggest move up 11 spots to 177 in the World while the other countries have moved between one and eight places.
New Zealand played two matches at the recent OSN Cup in Saudi Arabia where they beat the hosts 1-0 for a spot in the final but fell at the final hurdle against a well organised United Arab Emirates side.
The mixed results have contributed to the side falling ten positions on the table where they now occupy 67th. Solomon Islands have fallen the furthest, 17 places down to 169th.
New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji have all moved down the table while Papua New Guinea remains unchanged in 197th.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking release is scheduled for mid-October.
