4′ Tevairoa Tehuritaua thinks he is in on goal for Tahiti but the offside flag is raised
6′ Tihoni Yohann tries to find Tehuritaua with a through ball but overhits his pass and it bounces into the arms of Usike
8′ Thomas Buscaglia goes on a strong run in the left of the box for Tahiti but his progressed is blocked by several Tahiti defenders
9′ GOAL!!! Tahiti 1, New Caledonia 0: Tahiti skipper Rainui Aroita leads by example when he hits a free kick from fully 40 yards and it slips through the grasp of Jordan Usike and into the net
10′ GOAL!!! New Caledonia 1, Tahiti 1: Not to be outdone, New Caledonia captain Stephane Tein-Padom makes his way past a couple of tackles in the box and squeezes the ball past goalkeeper Heremataarii Hatitio at the near post
