Defending champions AS PTT and Suva FC battled to a nil-all draw, to get a share of the points at the OFC Futsal Men’s Champions League 2025.
AS PTT and Suva FC went into the break locked at 0-0 after a tight first half where both sides created chances but failed to take them. AS PTT had the early control, pushing for a win after their draw with Southern Legions FC. Suva, who lost their opener, stayed disciplined and relied on counters to stay in the contest.
Suva threatened through Nikil Chand on the right edge, with his best look comething after drawing out the keeper and tried to chip, but the attempt fell short.
AS PTT responded with heavy pressure, firing repeated shots but struggled to find a clean finish. Kitione Baleloa made a number of outstanding saves, as Suva’s defence held strong.

The defending champions kept most of the ball and tried long-range efforts late in the half, while Suva stayed patient and used counters through Rajneel Singh and Merrill Nand to relieve pressure.
AS PTT’s persistence with their attacking pressure continued into the second spell, as the physicality grew so did the desperation from both sides to find the winner. Opportunities for AS PTT opened through counters, but they couldn’t find a finish. Baleloa of Suva FC held firm in goal to block AS PTT’s chances, with the potential of a goal looming through the consistent pressure.
Both sides had chances in the final minutes, but were unable to find the net settling for a draw in a fiery battle at the end of the third match-day.
AS PTT will now prepare to face the unbeaten Waikato Rapids in their next match, while Suva FC play Mataks FC as the battle for a place in the final heats up.
